Today I want to tell you something about
one of my favourites painters – Gustav
Klimt. He was born on 14th July 1862 in Vienna and died on 6th
February 1918 in Vienna too. He was a Austrain painter, graphic and one of the
greatest representative of Secession (~1890-1910 it’s variant of a modern art). He had six
siblings. He studied architectural painting. In 1897 he and seven (and more)
people created Wiener Secession (Association of the Vienna Secession). In art
Gustav Klimt wanted to paint with no restrictions, which tought him in school.
His works are still inspirations for young painters. He used gold, silver (and
oil) to his work.
Curiosity: His ”Adele Bloch-Bauer’s Portrait”was sold for
135 000 000 USD (486 000 000PLN !!).
I hope that you’ll like his paints because there are nice and dandy! I’m
going to show some of his
pictures:
"Adele Bloch-Bauer’s Portrait"

"The Kiss"

"The hug"
Have a nice night!
