The Perfect Pizza

Hello guys!
I’m sure you know that if you want to live you must eat. Today I’ll write about the dish which I love eating.
The dish I could eat every day is pizza. You can think it’s very easy to make pizza but really only a few per cent of people know how to make some excellent pizza. The most delicious pizza  should have a perfect crust. If the crust is too thick, pizza doesn't taste good. If it doesn't have enough sauce, it is too dry. You must remember that there shouldn't be too much sauce because it can slop  and you won't enjoy the pastry.  If is too much cheese or olive oil, the dish is too greasy. On the other hand, if there isn’t enough cheese, pizza doesn't have its original taste. I won’t write about pizza toppings because this part is up to you. My favourite topping includes ham and pineapples .
Making tasty pizza is a very big challenge. But if you eat such pizza, you will never eat anything else. :)

Friesian horse

Hi, today I will tell you about my favorite race of horse. My favourite race is cold-blooded horses, which is called the Friesian horse. These Horses usually have black colour, lush mane, tail and high and spectacular gaits. They are distinguished by a very good character, a willingness to cooperate with humans. The modern Friesian horse is used in many ways. It works as a walking horse, dressage, sledge and revue shows. Great is also suitable for hippotherapy. High intelligence and their willingness to cooperate with the man, allows for the use of Frisian by a person with a large level of disability to ride. The Friezes are derived from primitive forest horse. I like this race, because these horses are very confident and beautiful.

T-35

Sorry, I changed my mind. I came to conclusion that writing about Panzerkampfwagen I is quite boring. In history were many more interesting projects of tanks, like russian T-35. First prototype of this tank was constructed in 1932 in Leningrad. Vehicle was 9 metres lenght, 3 metres width, 3.5 metres hight and 52 tons weight. It also had two turret with one 76mm cannon, two 45mm cannons and six 7mm machine guns.  It had 11 person crew. In combat conditions T-35 was only used in operation Barbarossa. USSR had 48 T-35 tanks. All were lost in one week, but only five of tchem was destroyed in battle. The rest of them were immobilised by mechanical failure.

Music

Hello, today I want to tell you about my favourite type of music. It's rap. I've been listening to it for 4-5 years. I got into rap because my older sister recommended it for me. I've been going with my sister and her boyfriend on concerts in different cities in Poland for about 1,5 years. My first concert was on 14 May 2015. It was Adam "OSTR" Ostrowski's concert in Warsaw at Juwenilia. I had amazing time. Next concert was in the Płock. At the moment I'm after 10 concerts in Poland. In the next post I will tell you about the most important creator of this music in my life.

Beautiful place

Hi, today I want to tell you about my little village - Baniocha. I lived there for 2 years. It's located near Warsaw. I'm going home by special bus. My flat is located in the forest. This isn't the everyday place of residence. I have a lot of trees around. In the middle of the forest there's also a cemetery, nice. Wild boars go here, usually at night and they do much damage. I love this place because it's peaceful and quiet.

Quentin Tarantino

Hi,
In this post I will write something about one of the gratest director on the world. He was born in 1963 in Tennesee. He didn't like school. He spent his time watching movies or reading comics rather than studying. In his early 20s he got a job at video archives. He wrote there the scripts for True Romance and Natural Born Killers. His directional debiut came with 1992's Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction, which earned more than $108 milion. My favourite film is Pulp Fiction, because this film shows real life of Los Angeles bandits. I recommend Quentin Tarantino's films to everyone who likes action films.

Józef Poniatowski

Hello guys!
Today I’ll describe my favourite Polish general from the time of Napoleonic Wars – Józef Poniatowski. He was born in 1763 in Vienna, Austria.  His father died when he was just a little boy and he was brought up by his  mum with much help from his uncle Stanisław August Poniatowski. When he was 16 years old he joined  the Austrian army. He got promoted very quickly and in 1788 he commanded the war between Austria and Turkey. In 1789 he became a Polish general. After occupation of Poland by Austria, Russia and Germany, he commanded a Polish army unit in Napoleon’s army. He took part in the Battle of Moscow and in the Battle of Leipzig, where he died after his soldiers blew up a bridge which was the only way to escape from  the Germans' attacks.
Poniatowski is my favourite general of the Napoleonic Wars and many people admire him just like Napoleon. I think they had a lot of things in common. They were brave and fought till the end.

My hobby

Hi, I want to tell you today about my hobby. My hobby is horse riding. I started horses ridding when I was seven years old. Immediately I fell in love with horses and horse riding. When I was ten years old I started going to the horse camps and I’m there every year since then. Every year at camp I meet amazing people and I’m every year better in ridding. Two years ago, I decided that I will pass my exam on the Brown riding badge. I could not take the exam because I broke my leg. But this summer I decided with a friend that your next vacation will definitely pass it. Two years ago, I started to ride at society that specialize in basic military horses training called Krakuses. I like horses because they are beautiful, strong and at the same time so gentle and timid. When I'm on horse I feel safe, understood, and  I calm down.

What should you take for a hiking trip?

Hello guys!
A lot of people who want to go hiking in the mountains don't have any experience or necessary equipment. It is very important – especially in high mountains, where during the late autumn or winter you can have a serious accident or even die!
OK, let me get back to the subject. What does a hiking checklist include? First of all, you have to buy comfortable  hiking boots. You can’t wear any sandals or trainers! You should buy ankle-high mountain boots. They usually cost 150-200 PLN. The next important thing is a waterproof jacket – if you go hacking, you should remember that the mountain weather can change very quickly.  My last advice is to  take a bottle of mineral water. Going hiking  without any water can be really dangerous. Every year  there are many accidents because of the fact that tourists get thirsty in the mountains and they are too weak to continue their trip. Then a mountain rescue team has to rescue people in need.
I hope this post will be helpful  to plan your first hiking trip. Thanks for reading :).

Good book

Hi, today I'm going to tell you about the book that I'm currently reading. Title of the book is "Dancing with an angel". It's author is Ake Edwardson. He is one of the most interesting writers in the world. The book tells the story about the murder of two boys in two different countries. Main character is Eric Winter. Eric and other workers are trying to discover who the murderer is. The killer probably is a person who likes to murder while listening and dancing to music. He also records it. This isn't normal. I think that next chapter will be exciting like last one.

My favorite book

Hi, today I will tell you about my favorite series of books Heartland Lauren Brooke.
This series tells the story of a shelter for horses, but also something more. This is one of kind places where frightened and mistreated horses learn to trust new people. Heartland for the main heroine Amy Fleming is home. Since she had been a child she watched her mom restores confidence and hope for horses, which not long ago were dangerous and frightened. Amy has inherited after her mom a talent-the ability to listen and understand horses  needs.  After a tragic accident Amy understood the Heatland is the stud where miraculous take place.Amy is the last person who can help the horses and who knows whether or not the only one that could help them. It is very interesting and addictive book. I recommend these books for persons  that love horses and want to learn more about them.

Farewell to summer

Yesterday in my parish family took place a picnic called the ”Farewell to summer “. The picnic lasted 10 hours. It was very colorful. During the picnic you could watch shows such as schola, a drum band, L'OMBELICO DEL MONDO and ACT THEATRE. You could buy handicrafts and regional products. Police, fire brigade and municipal police organized demonstrations.  For children were special circus shows, games, and contests with prizes. There were also painting workshops under the title Love Prague connected with the competition. You could also play football. There was also a sports area, where you could learn how to walk a tightrope, play badminton, French boules and Finnish bowling. We all had fun, anyone was able to find something for themselves, which was pretty cool.

Time of Honor

Hello guys!
Have you seen a Polish TV series “Time of Honor”? If you don't know it, maybe my short post will be a good recommendation.
The plot takes place in 1941 in the occupied Warsaw. The Polish armed forces learn about the fight in England and come to Poland. They decide to support the Polish Underground State. On the screen we observe their everyday work – we see how they kill a German officer, carry weapon and money, teach each other “how to fight”.
The TV series includes some historical events, too – the deaths of German commanders, intelligence work against occupying German forces, for example operations investigating the German Wunderwaffe - the V-1 flying bomb.  There are also some stories of people arrested by Germans.
Besides, the TV show focuses on a friendship between main characters – Bronek, Michal, Wladek and Jan.

“Time of Honor” is my favorite TV series because while you are watching each episode you can feel “it is real”. If you are interested in the history, you should definitely see it and learn more about the events that happened in Poland during WW2.

Krakuses

Horse basic training called Krakuses is a group of people, who continue the traditions of the Polish cavalry. There group is existing for more than twenty years. We meet for horse riding every Saturday. We teach fencing and handling lance during horse riding. We practice patterns in groups. We shoot a gun on the ground studs with air-guns , on licensed shooting ranges of firearms , including military . In addition, we learn to self-defense. We jump over obstacles on horseback and also without them. After the rides, we help in a stall. There's great atmosphere because we all try to help each other.

My favorite book

Hello guys!
I don’t know why I love historic books so much. My favorite one is “Trail of hope” by Norman Davies. In this book he describes the history of Polish deportees who created an army in the Soviet Union and then went to Africa and Italy. The soldiers were very important  during the Second World War. The book gives a lot of information about this period. For example, you can learn about the Battle of Tobruk or Monte Casino and the fights with the British 8th Army when the so called Polish Second Corps crossed the Mediterranean to Italy. There are many  interesting descriptions of  soldiers' life and adventures which happened to them. The Author wrote about political situation of the army which was created when the country was under German occupation. They fought  on land, sea and air alongside the allies.
I think everybody who is interested in history must read this book!

Bolesław I the Brave

Hello guys!
Today I’m going to write about my favourite King of Poland – Bolesław Chrobry.
Bolesław I the Brave was born in 967. When he was 6 he went to Germany  because Poland had to confirm the decisions at the great council at Quedlinburg. In 990 he came back to Poland and in 992 he started his commanding career. He supported the Christianity mission to Prussia of Adalbert of Prague (known as Wojciech before consecration). After Wojciech's murder he bought his body and buried him with honours. When in 1000 Otto III came to Poland he organized the Congress of Gniezno. With this event, Poland confirmed its status as a Christianized  country. Otto dreamt about a big empire including Poland, Germany and other European countries. Unfortunately, his plan wasn’t fulfilled because he died in 1003.
I think Bolesław was a great diplomat and a very brave warrior.  In 1025 he became the first King of Poland but just a few months later he died. He is my favourite king because of his intelligence and bravery. Under his ruling, Poland was a great country.

History of my city

Hello everybody!
Today I will describe the history of my city – Warsaw. I hope it’ll be interesting.
Warsaw isn’t a very old city - it got city rights in 1323. During the 14th century Warsaw wasn't an important city, but in 1596 King Zygmunt III Waza decided to change the location of the capital city and Warsaw became great. Every king who was born in Sweden had shorter distance to the country.
In the 16th century Warsaw had a very important role.  The most of councils were here and they made decisions about the most important country matters.
After Kosciuszko’s Uprising in 1794, Warsaw fell under  German occupation. It was freed in 1805 after Napoleon’s attack  on Germany and Russia, but in 1863 Germany started to occupy the city again.
Warsaw was a part of Germany  until 1918 when the First World War finished. Then the city was a capital of Poland until 1939 when the Second World War started. During the wartime the capital city of the General Governorship was Cracow. After the war, Warsaw got back its role and it has been a capital city since that time.
Warsaw is the location of the most important institutions in Poland – the Presidential Palace, Polish Parliament, Senate and all ministries. The most important decisions are made here.

My first post

Hello guys!
If you don’t know, my name is Bartek. I live in a big city which is full of trees and smog – Warsaw.
I have two younger brothers who are sometimes annoying but we usually get along without any damage to health.
I think it will be a good idea to write about the things I do in my free time. Of course, I am a  typical student. Most often, after school lessons I just come back home and do my homework. But don't worry! It isn’t anything special and I won't write about this stuff. This blog will be much more interesting if  I describe my hobbies.
In my free time I play tennis and go hacking in the mountains. If there aren't  any mountains, a big forest is also OK. I live near Las Bielański, which is a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon. Do you know that forest walks can help reduce stress? They can also make your brain work better. That's why I go for a walk to the forest before tests. And it works!
