Our school

WELCOME TO GYMNASIUM NO. 44

Our school is very big.

The building has three floors and the basement.

LOCATION

—As you know our school is in Warsaw the capital of Poland in the city centre.
—Our school is near the Charles De Gaulle roundaboat and not a far distance from Nowy Świat street (the most beautiful street in Warsaw).
—Our location is good because our pupils can get to school by tram, train, bus and of course car.

THE LOCKER ROOM

In the basement there is a big locker room with colourful lockers. It’s where we all
change. Each student has his own locker.

GROUND FLOOR

This is the lower part of the main staircase. It’s connected to all the floors. On the left is the teacher’s room, while to the right - one of the corridors. It leads to most of the offices, the canteen, 3 classrooms and the library . Here‘s also the nurse’s office.

THE CANTEEN

During lunch our canteen is full of people. Lunches are cooked by the cook. There are very healthy and taste well. The room has beautifully painted walls that bring a nice mood.

THE LIBRARY

Library - our library is wonderful. It is on the main floor.
Maybe it is not very big, but you'll find everything you need. It contains all of theset books, along with a large amount of extracurricular literature.
There are also computers with internet access and a printer, copier, which can be used on the breaks.

FIRST FLOOR

On the first floor there are 2 computer classrooms, Polish and foreign language classrooms as well as the gym.

Our classroom is the language one. It is very clean, spacious and bright. It is on the first floor. As a class we are trying to make
it as cosy and interesting as we can. I like a lot my classroom.

SECOND FLOOR

On the second floor there are Chemistry, Physics and History classrooms and a small gym.

THIRD FLOOR

 

On the third floor there are classrooms for such subjects as Biology, History, Maths and Geography. There is also our school shop.
