age doesn't mean anything

hi, guys

In my house since few months we have been talking about birthday my sister. On Tuesday she will be seventeen. For me it's something terrible. I remember times, when we went together to the same school, when she was only two years older. Now, this two years is really significant. I cannot imagine it... She will be in legal age for only one year since now. It's undreamed.

The point of considerations my family is, how she will deal with it? My mom is confident that an age doesn't mean anything and she is not ready for adulthood. I know my sister and I agree with my mom in hundred percent. It's kinda sad, cause though she is almost seventeen! I still hope, that in this one year everything will change and my sister, after all, will be adult enough for adulthood.
