Yesterday was the 10 th of October. Have you ever thought about what happened on this day 76 years
ago? If you haven't, you should read this short post – maybe, you will learn something interesting. Between 10 th July and 31 st October 1940, the army of European Allies fought with the Germans in the Battle of Britain. Germans had more planes and bomber aircrafts but Allies defended bravely - and in the end they won. Many pilots from occupied countries took part in the battle. The Canadians, Poles, Czechoslovakians and others helped the Royal Air Force (RAF). Now a lot of people in the UK don’tknow these heroes died for their freedom.
I think we must remember about this part of history! Let’s keep the memory about the foreign soldiers who gave their lives when they were helping other nations.
