The T-34 was the main tank of Soviet
armoured forces throughout the II World War. Its design to battles with
advanced German tanks, like Panzerkampfwagen V Panther or Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger: as the war went on
it became more capable, but also quicker and cheaper to produce. Soviet
industry would eventually produce over 80,000 T-34s of all variants, allowing
steadily greater numbers to be fielded as the war progressed despite the loss
of thousands in combat against Wermacht. T-34 had 7 metres length, 3 metres
width, 2,5 metres height and 26 tons weight. Has been equiped with 76,2 mm
cannon (later 85mm cannon) and two 7,62 mm machine guns. It also had from 15mm
to 47 mm Armour. Vehicle speeded up to 53 km/h. T-34 was used in 39 countries.
In some countries T-34 is still use.
