Tiger II, also called Königstiger was
German heavy tank, successor of Tiger I. Designed in 1943 by Henschel & Son
and Krupp was the biggest and heaviest second World War tank used in battle.
Weighing 70 tonnes tank had 7 metres length (10 metres with cannon), 4 metres width and 3 metres height. Was
armoured for 25mm to 185mm Armor and equipped in the most powerful anti-tank cannon
in second World War- 128 mm Pak 44L/55. Vehicle also had two 7.92 mm MG 34
machine guns. In 1944-1945 Germans produced 492 copies of this tank. By the V12
Maybach HL230 P30 tank speeded to 38km/h. Tiger II was the last mass-produced
German tank at second World War.
