T-44 was a medium tank built by USSR, and
used in Red Army. T-44 was successor of T-34, tank which had most copies ever.
T-44 was designed by Alexander Alexandrovich Morozov in 1944. T-44 had 32 tons
weight, 6 metres length(7,5 with cannon), 3 metres width, 2,5 metres height and
had 4 persons crew. Was armoured in 120mm Armor, and was equipped in 122mm D-25-44
tank cannon and two 7.62-mm DTM machine guns.
Tank was powered by Model V-44 12-cyl. 38.88 L diesel with 520
horsepower. T-44 was used at the end of second World War and in Hungarian
revolution. Tank also had 13 variants. T-44 had 53km/h speed.
