Golden Mean Gauge

Maybe you know this feeling when you have to write an essay for Polish for tomorrow and you are sure that the teacher is going to take your notebook, but you do a lot of different things instead writing it?

Today I've made DIY Golden Mean Gauge. It's something like few linked element with three "teeth". It's constructed to made the ratio of distance between first-two and distance between two-three equal Phi (φ)

There are proffesional versions we can buy, but if we don't need it to something important, we can do handmade version. I've made it from cardboard and it's quite fun. Obviously, my DIY skills are so low and it's less, less precise than the proffesional gauge, but still I can measure a lot of things and pretend that the magic is everywhere.
